Landslide strands commuters in Cagayan, Ilocos Norte

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya ,Philippines – Hundreds of commuters were stranded at the boundary of Cagayan and Ilocos Norte since Saturday due to landslides along Patapat road.
According to reports, the landslide occurred along the stretch of the national highway in Barangay Pasaleng in Ilocos Norte’s Pagudpud town, near the boundary of Santa Praxedes, Cagayan.
Authorities said it will take three days to clear the road of boulders and mud.
