Mall shooting victim to be buried today

MALOLOS CITY, Philippines  – The 16-year old victim in a mall shooting incident Tuesday will be laid to rest today.

The victim was allegedly shot by his 13-year-old friend before the latter shot himself in front of a restaurant chain at SM City Pampanga. A suicide note found in the bag of the 13-year-old indicated that the incident was a crime of passion.

Running priest Robert Reyes said it is apparent that the victims lack guidance from their elders, noting that it is unusual for 13-year olds to commit to a serious relationship.
