MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will inaugurate today the Puerto-Sayre flyover in Cagayan de Oro, the first to be built in the province.
DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson will be accompanied by French Ambassador to the Philippines Thierry Borja de Mozota in inaugurating the French-funded project.
The P362.950 million structure, which is 195 meters long and 7.5 meters wide, is seen to ease traffic congestion during peak hours and the inconvenience brought about by construction activities in the busy intersection of Iligan-Cagayan-Butuan Road and Sayre Highway.
