Man shot dead; car burst into flames

MALASIQUI, Pangasinan, Philippines  – A man was killed and his body found in a vehicle that later burst into flames in Barangay Cabatling here before dawn yesterday.

A resident said she heard three gunshots and the sounds of a motorcycle and a car engine running at around 3 a.m. She and her son looked out the window and saw a white Ford Escape with license plate PQH-313 hit a neighbor’s concrete fence.

Residents approached the vehicle and saw an unidentified man’s body in it just before the vehicle burst into flames.
