Korean, Caraga fugitive nabbed

MANILA, Philippines -  Police arrested a Korean national and the 16th most wanted person in the Caraga region in separate operations in Cavite and Davao City.

Members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested Jun Soo Park, for possession of two 12 gauge shotguns, a caliber .38 revolver and assorted ammunition, when they raided his home at Caysubic Hotel and Gold Club in Puerto Azul, Barangay Sapang 1, Ternate, Cavite Monday.

In Davao City, CIDG operatives from Butuan City arrested Leonardo Madelo, who carries a P75,000 bounty on his head.

Pagdilao said Madelo of Purok 18, Barangay Tungao, Butuan City was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Godofredo Abul Jr., of Regional Trial Court Branch 4 in Butuan City.
