COTABATO CITY, Philippines – Policemen yesterday intercepted in Pikit, North Cotabato more than 10,000 board feet of smuggled lumber, allegedly owned by a municipal councilor.
Superintendent Alex Tagum of the North Cotabato provincial police, who led the confiscation of the forest products, said the driver of the truck carrying the lumbers, failed to show any document to prove that there was nothing irregular in the shipment.
