PAF helicopter lands in rice field

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – A Philippine Air Force (PAF) helicopter made an emergency landing in a rice field in Guimba, Nueva Ecija yesterday morning, authorities said.
In a report here, Senior Superintendent Roberto Aliggayu, Nueva Ecija police director, said the PAF helicopter with tail number 370 was on its way to Isabela when it suffered mechanical trouble, forcing the pilot, a certain Capt. Elmer Ariola, to make an emergency landing. The aircraft had four other passengers. – Ric Sapnu, Alexis Romero
