Kadayawan draws crowds

DAVAO CITY ,Philippines  – Thousands of people yesterday trooped to the different venues of activities in this year’s Kadayawan sa Davao 2011 that gets livelier today with the Indak-Indak sa Dalan street-dancing event.

Tomorrow, residents and visitors alike will be treated to a feast of the senses with the floral float parade featuring the bounty of the land in this part of the country.

President Aquino declared yesterday a holiday here to enable Dabawenyos to join the festivities that showcase the cultures of the different tribes that comprise the city populace.
