DAVAO CITY, Philippines – At least three people were reported killed in a landslide that struck a remote mining area in New Bataan, Compostela Valley Tuesday night.
Maj. Jake Obligacion, spokesman of the Army’s 10th Infantry Division, said they got the belated report on the landslide, triggered by continuous rains since Sunday, since the mining site is so remote.
