Murder raps vs ex-soldier filed

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya ,Philippines  – Murder charges have been filed against a former soldier for the recent killing of a municipal chairman of the Liga ng mga Barangay here.

Police identified the suspect as Conrado Legaspi, 53, a retired Army man, said to be the brains behind the murder of Hernani Obaña, who was also the chairman of Barangay Bone South, Aritao town here, last June 20. 

Senior Superintendent Elmer Beltejar, police provincial director said a certain Ferdinand Ysit, a rebel returnee, of Beti village of the same town was included in the charge sheet.
