Former soldier shot dead

BAYAMBANG,Pangasinan, Philippines – A 56-year-old former military man was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding gunman in Barangay Tanolong here on Saturday.

Initial investigation said Dominador Ramos, 56, was playing “tong-its”with two others when he was shot. He succumbed to bullet wounds in the different parts of his body and was declared dead on arrival at the Bayambang District Hospital.

Six spent shells of a .45 caliber were recovered at the scene. The motive of the killing is still unknown as authorities are conducting further investigation into the case.
