28 arrested in Cavite cybersex den raid

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Police arrested at least 28 persons including a 17-year-old girl in Calabarzon region during a raid on a cybersex den along Aguinaldo highway in Imus, Cavite, Saturday evening.

Police Superintendent Randy Peralta, Regional Special Operation Group chief said charges of violation of Republic Act 9775 or the Anti-Child Pornography act of 2008 were filed against the computer shop’s owner Richard Freira Tagala.

He said police also seized computers containing photos and videos of nude girls and sex paraphernalia.

Peralta said the arrested 22 young men and six women will undergo medical examination after which they will be transferred to the Department of Social Worker and Developments (DSWD).
