Indian national seized in Sulu

ZAMBOANGA CITY ,Philippines  – Government security officials yesterday confirmed that suspected Abu Sayyaf militants seized an Indian national in Patikul, Sulu last Wednesday night.

Director Felicisimo Khu, chief of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operation Western Mindanao, quoted reports as saying that the kidnappers barged into the residence of Biju Kolara Veettil, 36, in Barangay Tempok, Patikul town and grabbed him at gunpoint at around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
