Family of 3 hurt in ravine plunge

ITOGON, Benguet, Philippines  – A Baptist pastor, his wife and their six-month-old child sustained injuries after their Toyota Tamaraw plunged into a 60-meter ravine along the Baguio-Nueva Vizcaya Road in this town Tuesday morning.

Pastor Jessie Osorio, 32, his wife Leticia, 34, and their daughter Leah Jacinth were reportedly heading home to Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya from Baguio City when they met the accident.

Rescuers rushed them to the Sacred Heart Hospital in Baguio City. The couple only suffered minor bruises and contusions, while their baby was under observation due to head injuries.
