American accused of raping deaf-mute

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – A Cagayan-based American national, previously involved in illegal drugs and a rape incident last year, is again in hot water for allegedly raping a 20-year-old deaf-mute earlier this year. 

Police identified the suspect as Mississippi native Scotty Brown, 50, who is temporarily residing in Barangay Leonarda, Tuguegarao City, who the victim accused of abusing her in a motel last Jan. 4.

The victim is reportedly now pregnant as a result of the alleged rape.  – Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig
