2 Laguna kids seized, slain

- Ed Amoroso -

LAGUNA, Philippines – Two siblings aged four and eight were seized by a man and subsequently found dead in a secluded area in San Pedro, Laguna Tuesday night, police said.

Police Superintendent Arnel Gongona, San Pedro police chief, said they recovered the bodies of Eunice Ann Longno, eight, and her brother Mark Daryl, four, when construction worker Joey Aguirre, 30, gave himself up to the authorities and owned up to the crime.

Gongona said Aguirre led police to the place where he dumped the two children’s bodies.

Aguirre said he did the crime to get back at the children’s father who had refused to pay his debt in a cockfight.
