CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Four people died and two more were injured in a collision of two 10-wheeler trucks in Pagbilao, Quezon Friday night, police said.
Senior Superintendent Erickson Velasquez, Quezon police director, identified the fatalities as Mark Leslie de la Cruz, Roldan Lacang, Marco de la Cruz, and Sonny Bartolome.
Investigation showed that the victims’ Bicol-bound truck, loaded with canned goods, was speeding along a diversion road in Barangay Malicboy when it hit another truck en route to Tiaong town on the opposite lane.
Jose Tuncelos and Romeo Heros Leomo, who were on board the Tiaong-bound truck, were injured and rushed to the MMC Hospital in Lucena City.
