Pinoy Patriots to launch Matuwid na Pamahalaan

MANILA, Philippines - A big gathering of Pinoy Patriots which actively participated in the presidential candidacy and eventual victory of President Aquino is expected in Cabuyao, Laguna tomorrow to formally launch its Matuwid na Pamahalaan advocacy for good governance.

Expected to grace the big non-political gathering is a cross-section of concerned citizens which include farmers, housewives, local leaders and former governors and members of Congress.

Former Laguna congressman Rodolfo “Totoy” Tingzon will play host to the affair which will be held in his Cabuyao, Laguna residence.

President Aquino’s uncle, former Tarlac congressman Peping Cojuangco will be the principal guest and is expected to rally the advocates of the newly-organized Matuwid na Pamahalaan behind the administration of Aquino.

Aside from the Pinoy Patriots, expected to attend are members of the Advocates for Good Governance, which is composed of former governors, mayors and congressmen and those actively involved in the citizen crime watch movement.
