- Roel Pareño -

BASILAN, Philippines  – Philippine National Police chief Director General Raul Bacalzo gave assurance that warrants of arrest will be out soon against the Abu Sayyaf bandits responsible for the bombing of a chapel in a police camp in Jolo, Sulu on Christmas Day.

Bacalzo said there are now eight suspects from the initial five tagged in the bombing of the Sacred Heart Chapel at Camp Asturias in Jolo. A supplemental complaint was filed against the three others before the regional trial court in Sulu.

“We will jointly work with the Armed Forces for the arrest (of the suspects),” said Bacalzo, who visited Jolo to personally assess the security situation there.
