Ex-Aurora official faces raps over nude photos

BALER, Aurora, Philippines – The former chief of the Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council (PDCC) is facing charges for allegedly spreading nude pictures of a female capitol employee taken two years ago.

Ex-PDCCchief Jose Doringo was charged with violations of Republic Act 9995, or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act, and RA 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, before the provincial prosecutor’s office.

The woman, in her early 20s, said Doringo asked her to pose nude in a room in Barangay Buhangin sometime in 2008.

The pictures though later circulated on cellular phones in this town.
