CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Three boys aged 12 to 14 were killed when lightning struck them while they were resting under a mango tree in Carmona, Cavite, authorities said.
The three children, identified as Jonel Teofilo, 12; Edwin Omandac, 13; and Romeo Sangarios Jr., 14, failed to return home Saturday night. Their bodies, which showed signs of lightning strike, were found Sunday night.
