3 Laguna rob suspects slain

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Three men were killed in a shootout with responding lawmen after allegedly robbing a male pedestrian in San Pablo City Saturday afternoon, police said.

Senior Superintendent Manolito Labador, Laguna police director, identified two of the three slain suspects as Andy Tolentino and Joel Deo, both San Pablo residents.

The third suspect remains unidentified and was described as between 30 and 35 years old, with fair complexion and medium build, and wearing an orange t-shirt and denims.

Police recovered two caliber .38 revolvers, assorted ammunition and the cell phone of the robbery victim at the site of the encounter. – Arnel Ozaeta, Ed Amoroso
