INC endorses LP's Cavite gubernatorial candidate

GEN. TRIAS, Cavite , Philippines  – Incumbent Vice Gov. Dencito Campaña, Liberal Party’s gubernatorial bet in Cavite, has surged ahead of his rival, former vice governor Jonvic Remulla of the Magdalo Party.

The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) has also endorsed Campaña, adding a significant margin of sure votes for him.

The survey was conducted by an independent organization, Storm Poltek Consultants, from April 16 to 20, where 4,000 respondents province-wide were asked about their bets in the national and local executive positions. Of the respondents, 44.84 percent voted for Campaña while only 35.92 percent chose Remulla.

Campaña vowed to continue the legacy of his biggest supporter and mentor, Gov. Ayong Maliksi.
