3 killed in videoke bar shooting
DAVAO CITY , Philippines – Two soldiers and a civilian were killed in a shooting incident in a videoke bar in Cagayan de Oro City before dawn yesterday.
Authorities identified the victims as Cpl. Roque Tagalongan and Sgt. Michael Seno, both of the Army’s 4th Infantry Battalion, and a certain Leo Acedo.
A certain Junjun Sabala was wounded in the incident and was reported to be in critical condition at the Northern Mindanao Regional Medical Center.
Police have launched a manhunt for the armed men, who were said to be drinking with a foreigner at the N Videoke Bar along Agora Road in Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City before they figured in an altercation with the soldiers.
Two of the gunmen reportedly fled on a white car after the incident. –
