Family of 4 massacred

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Four family members, including an eight-month-old baby girl, were shot dead in a far-flung village in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija Tuesday night.

Reports identified the fatalities as Marcela Galicia, 50, her son Mark Arthur Galicia, 28, and his wife Cecilia, 25, and their only child, Aceel.

Police found the bullet-riddled bodies of Marcela and Mark Arthur on a pathway leading to their house, while those of Cecilia and Aceel were at the living area.

Several spent 9-mm shells were found at the crime scene.

Marcela’s husband, Timoteo, was also killed in the same place seven years ago. – Ric Sapnu
