Father, daughter killed in landslide

Camp Vicente Lim, Laguna, Philippines – A father and daughter were killed while three other family members were injured when a landslide buried their house in Silang, Cavite yesterday morning, police said.

Senior Superintendent Alfred Corpuz, Cavite police director, said construction worker Allan Borromeo, 27, and his four-year-old daughter Ariella died in the landslide, while his common-law wife Joan Andahaw, 27, and two other children – seven-year-old Angel and one-year-old Angela – sustained injuries. – Arnell Ozaeta
