3 hurt in Isabela ferry terminal blast
ILAGAN, Isabela, Philippines – At least three people were injured when a suspected explosive went off at the rear of a delivery van parked near a ferry terminal in San Agustin town past noon Saturday.
Police said the victims, identified as Lydia Atienza, Christina Pua and Rona Bumagat, suffered shrapnel wounds.
The explosion also damaged a number of vehicles, including Bumagat’s Isuzu Crosswind and Pua’s Toyota Fortune.
The victims were waiting for a ferry ride across the Cagayan River when the blast occurred. – Charlie Lagasca
