ITOGON, Benguet , Philippines – Another small-scale miner died when he ran out of his oxygen supply and suffocated in a tunnel in Barangay Tuding here on Monday morning.
Miner Robert Mariano, 43, died while being rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.
Last Nov. 9, three small-scale miners also suffered the same fate in Barangay Loacan here. – Artemio Dumlao
