Dog bites 6-month-old boy's head

CANDABA, Pampanga , Philippines  - A six-month-old boy here was rushed to a hospital in Manila last Sunday after a dog with pitbull blood attacked and bit him on the head.

Police the baby, whose name was withheld, is now out of danger but has to remain hospitalized.

Police said the baby was asleep in his bamboo crib while his mother was ironing clothes when the dog named Bruno, tied to a tree, broke loose and attacked the baby.

The local daily Punto Central Luzon said it took four people “to finally open the dog’s jaws to set the baby’s head free.” – Ding Cervantes
