MANILA, Philippines - Police gunned down two suspected robbers in a shootout in a posh subdivision in Biñan, Laguna Saturday night.
Chief Superintendent Perfecto Palad, Calabarzon police director, said they are now checking if the slain men, one of them identified through ID cards found in his wallet as Saturnino Gobis, were behind the rash of robberies in subdivisions in Laguna.
