One killed in vehicle mishap

Candelaria, Quezon – One person was killed in vehicular accident along the Maharlika Highway, Barangay Masin Norte of Candelaria town, Monday night.

Police reports said the victim was identified as Dennies Raymundo, 34 years old, married and residing at Barangay Pahinga Norte of the said town while the suspect was identified as Allan Mirandilla, 30 years old, driver of Binas Line Bus, married and lives in Cainta, Rizal.

Around 8:15 p.m. along Maharlika Highway, the suspect overtook a tricycle and as a result, a head-on collision occurred between the Binas Line Bus and the incoming motorcycle driven by Raymundo who died on-the-spot due to severe head and body injuries, while the motorcycle incurred irreparable damages. – Michelle Zoleta
