2 kidnap suspects gunned down

Two suspected kidnappers were killed while their companion was wounded in a shootout with police hours after their foiled attempt to abduct two Korean nationals in Talisay, Batangas.

The slain kidnappers remained unidentified while their wounded companion was identified as Cesar Labisto, 35. They yielded a Carbine rifle, a caliber .38 revolver and a 12-gauge shotgun.

A policeman, Senior Inspector Ricardo Dalmacia, sustained leg injury during the hot pursuit operations. – Non Alquitran, Ed Amoroso and Arnell Ozaeta
