Ilagan gives finance aid to fire victims

Cainta Mayor Mon Ilagan has approved the release of over P500,000 budget as financial assistance to at least 74 families whose houses were gutted by fire on Jan. 2.

“The fire that ravaged their homes was definitely most unfortunate and disheartening especially at the onset of a new year,” said Ilagan, referring to residents of Block 1, Bermai PFCI, Floodway, Barangay San Andres, Cainta town. “I hope that this financial assistance will help them put this (temporary) major setback aside, get up and move on with their lives.” 

The fire victims are presently being temporarily sheltered in various locations in the town would receive their financial grants later this week.
