Contractor shot dead

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A contractor was shot dead by three armed men during Christmas celebration in Barangay San Isidro, Tarlac City.

Senior Superintendent Rudy Lacadin, Tarlac police provincial director, identified the fatality as July Fajardo, 47, of Zone 5, Barangay San Isidro, Tarlac.

Lacadin said the victim attended a Christmas celebration at the residence of his parents when three unidentified men riding in tandem on a motorcycle arrived and made a transaction with him.

While talking with the suspects in front of the house, two of the gunmen shot the victim successively with a .45 caliber pistol.

Lacadin said the suspects immediately boarded their motorcycles without plate numbers and fled toward south direction.

The victim died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds in the different parts of the body.

A flash alarm to all police stations in the province given for dragnet operation was issued against the suspects.
