Telebastagan again tops 'Ligligan Parul'

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – For the second time, Barangay Telebastagan emerged as the champion in this city’s annual Ligligan Parul (Giant Lantern Festival) held at the Robinsons Star Mills complex Saturday night.

Barangays Del Pilar and San Nicolas were adjudged as the second and third placers, respectively, said Ching Pangilinan of the city’s tourism office. A total of nine barangays joined the contest.

The top three winners got P100,000, P50,000 and P25,000 in cash prizes, respectively. – Ric Sapnu
