Cop in trouble after being caught in a motel with minor

- Jaime Laude -

A senior police officer is now in hot water after he was literally caught with his pants down inside a motel in the company of a 15-year-old girl in Antipolo City.

Superintendent Miguel Tolentino, deputy finance officer of the National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) is presently detained at the Taytay police, said Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman, Chief Superintendent Nicanor Bartolome.

According to Bartolome, Tolentino is now detained and facing charges of child abuse. Violation of RA 90208 or Human Trafficking Act will also be filed against the pimp of the 15-year-old girl.

Prior to his arrest, a concerned citizen, whom Bartolome did not name, sought assistance from the Taytay police over the presence of a police officer inside Aramis Motel along Marcos Highway with a minor partner the other day.

Reacting to this complaint, the Taytay police raided the place and arrested Tolentino while with his 15-year-old girl partner.

Earlier on, Bartolome said Tolentino was initially seen in the company of two minors, aged 15 and 13, but he dropped off the 13-year-old along with the pimp on their way to the motel.

“He is right now facing charges of child abuse dahil isang menor de edad ang kasama sa loob ng isang motel at may complainants din dito,” Bartolome said.
