Samar gov suspended

The Sandiganbayan has ordered the 90-day preventive suspension of Samar Gov. Milagrosa Tee Tan and four other provincial officials for the alleged anomalous purchase of calamity goods in 2001.

Also suspended were Samar provincial administrative officer Rolando Montejo, accountant Ro­meo Reales, budget officer Maximo Sison, and property inspection officer Numeriano Legaspi. – Edu Punay
