3 junkies tagged in slay of Japanese female exec
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police have tagged three suspected drug addicts as behind the killing of a Japanese female executive who was found dead at her rented apartment in Rosario, Cavite last Friday morning.
Superintendent Edgar Roquero, Rosario police chief, said they have identified the suspects in the killing of Yuu Ko Paredes, 38, purchasing manager of House Technology Industries.
Roquero refused to divulge the names of the three suspects, except saying they are aged 25 and above.
“We are verifying a report that the suspects are drug users and are involved in several robberies in Cavite. Two of them have criminal records,” Roquero said.
He said a witness saw the three suspects leaving Paredes’ apartment in Barangay Poblacion and fleeing on a motorcycle.
Paredes died from multiple stab wounds. Her body was found by two of her employees who checked on her when she failed to report for work.
