Lipa City – A 29-year-old female dentist was found dead in her clinic here with a slashed throat and broken skull last Thursday afternoon, police said.
Superintendent George Dadulo, city police chief, said responding policemen found the body of Mary Joy Duroy after a concerned citizen informed them about a man covered in blood coming out of her clinic at the corner of CM Recto Avenue and Capt. Simeon Luz street in Barangay 6 here.
Probers said Duroy could have put up a fight, prompting her attacker to cut her throat and smash her head on the floor.
Robbery was being eyed in the incident, as Duroy’s cellular phone was reported missing. – Arnell Ozaeta
