-

Camp Vicente Lim, Laguna – The Rotary Club of Calamba, the Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) and the Philippine National Police – Region 4A recently announced the launching of the Metrobank Foundation Search for the Country’s Outstanding Policemen in Service.

Rotary Club of Calamba president Allan Salazar said that this annual national competition is a brainchild of the Rotary Club of New Manila East and the Metrobank Foundation and which was adopted by the local private sector and business groups.

Salazar said this competition is a way for the private sector of Laguna to show their appreciation to the local police force who toil daily in order to maintain the peace and order of communities by protecting lives and properties.

PSBank management added that in honoring these outstanding policemen and women, it will highlight the reliability and importance of police and community partnerships.

Salazar said the competition is open to all Police Non-Commissioned Officers who have been in service for the last seven years and Police Commissioned Officers with the rank of Police Inspector up to Police Superintendent. Awardees to the competition would receive a trophy and P250,000 each.

Details of the competition is available at the Laguna Provincial Police Office at telephone number 049-8101231 or at the nearest PSBank branch, Metrobank Foundation and, or any Rotary Club Offices.  – Arnell Ozaeta
