EK assures public of its rides’ safety

STA. ROSA, Laguna – One of the famous rides at the Enchanted Kingdom theme park will be missed by children and teenagers this holiday season after the management decided to shut it down temporarily when it experienced trouble last Wednesday night.

Franco Cacho, park relations head of Enchanted Kingdom, told The STAR that the “Space Shuttle” will remain closed to the public until an investigation determines what caused the mechanical failure.

Cacho said other attractions of Enchanted Kingdom will be open, and assured the public that the theme park adheres to the strictest safety procedures.

“We have a scheduled periodic checkup of all our rides to prevent any accident during our operations. However, rare incidents do happen” he added.
