Angeles shabu lab raided

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A combined team of the Angeles City police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) raided a house suspected to be a shabu laboratory the other day and seized some P15 million worth of chemicals and equipment used in manufacturing the illegal drug.

In a report, Senior Superintendent George Gaddi, Angeles City police chief, said four Chinese nationals rented the house on Remy street in Villa Theresa Subdivision from a certain Dabu, to whom they introduced themselves as Korean nationals.

The raiding team, according to Gaddi, was armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Napoleon Sta. Romana of the Guimba, Nueva Ecija Regional Trial Court Branch 31.

Gaddi said two suspects he identified as Cai Ziming and Alex To managed to escape.

Gaddi said the suspects were just starting to put up the shabu laboratory.

Last Friday, the Bataan police and PDEA seized some P42 million worth of shabu chemicals from the residence of one Emerson Ebido in Barangay Calaylayan, Abucay, Bataan.

The following day, a warehouse in Pilar, Bataan yielded shabu chemicals that could produce P150 million worth of the illegal drug.
