Man commits suicide

SISON, Pangasinan – The police are eyeing jealousy that led a 31-year old man to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head with a .38 caliber revolver paltik around 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 22 in Ba­rangay Asan Norte here.

The police identified the victim as Marlon Supnet, resident of said place, who was talking over the phone to his father and sister who were abroad and relayed to them his personal problem prior to the incident.

He allegedly locked the door of his room and members of his family tried to convince him to open it but he refused, until they heard a gunfire.

Supnet allegedly had a mis­understanding with his wife working abroad and the police said jealousy could have been the motive of the incident.
