DAGUPAN CITY — A radio broadcaster of Love Radio in this city was wounded after two unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects shot him in front of his residence along De Venecia Highway, Lucao district here.

Allan Sison, also known as Dr. Heart, anchorman of a popular radio program in this city, was talking with his neighbor around 11:30 p.m. Friday when the gunmen attacked.

Superintendent Dionicio Borromeo, city police chief, told The STAR that Sison sustained three gunshot wounds, two in his right breast and another in his armpit from a caliber .45.

He was rushed to the nearby hospital and was declared out of danger by his attending physician, Borromeo said.

The police recovered from the crime scene two empty shells for caliber .45.

Investigators said Sison didn’t recognize the suspects who fled towards Calasiao town.

They are still looking at all angles behind the shooting.

Earlier this year, Sison escaped unhurt after unidentified suspects allegedly fired upon him.

He also reported a similar shooting of a company patrol car he was driving which he parked near a restaurant while he was dining sometime in 2004.

Sison ran but lost as barangay captain last Oct. 29 in barangay Domalandan, Lingayen town.

The victim was previously involved several times in fistfights and alleged mauling incidents, based on police records.
