Filipinos aspiring to work in China may have to wait a little more longer to fulfill their dream after the Department of Labor and Employment opted to temporarily set aside plans to legalize deployment of overseas Flipino workers to mainland China.
A labor official who spoke on condition of anoymity, said DOLE deliberately held off the on foing talks of hiring OFWs to CHina following the controversy on the national broadband deal.
DOLE earlier reported that the Philippine government was negotiating a government-to-government of Filipino workers to China but the talks failed to prosper.
