Shares recovered Wednesday, the index up by 58.71 points to 3,834.71. The All Shares market also closed higher by 35.30 points to 2,394.58.
Most of the subindices were trading in the green except for services, which closed lower by 7.79 points. The biggest mover was mining and oil, up by 134.86 points.
Volume was at 4.65 billion shares worth 4.80 billion pesos. Gainers beat losers, 84 against 38, with 48 stocks unchanged.
