Partylist solons detained at NAIA due to hold order

Two partylist militant solons were detained at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Friday due to a hold departure order against them.

Detained for an hour, Bayan Muna Rep. Satur Ocampo and Gabriela Rep. Liza Masa almost missed their flight to for Geneva, Switzerland due to the hold order against them by the Department of Justice.

The DOJ had earlier placed their names on the hold departure list after the two were charged for rebellion.

The lawmakers were later allowed to board their flight after Ocampo's lawyer intervened in the matter.
