Stocks closed mixed Friday, the index down by 4.61 points to 3,572.90. However, the All Shares market closed higher by 3.91 points to 2,226.71.
Most of the subindices were trading higher except for services, which closed lower by 21.89 points. The biggest mover was mining and oil, up by 45.77 points.
Volume was at 4.28 billion shares worth 5.61 billion pesos. Winners barely beat losers, 56 against 54, with 55 stocks unchanged.
At the foreign exchange, the peso was buying at P44.70 and selling at P45.20 against the US dollar. The peso had closed yesterday at P45.01.
