Two professors arrested at Bangladesh university in wake of violence

DHAKA (AFP) - Bangladesh security forces on Friday arrested two professors from Dhaka University, where unrest erupted this week that has spilled over into other cities and led to a curfew, a school official said.
They were detained in raids early Friday, the university's acting vice chancellor Yusuf Haider.
He named the pair as Harun ur Rashid, dean of the social science faculty, and Anwar Hossain, dean of bioscience and general secretary of the university's teachers' association.
