Tsunami warning cancelled after Peru quake

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center cancelled its tsunami warning and watch Wednesday for eleven Latin American countries along the Pacific rim.
The center said its earlier warning in the wake of the massive earthquake that struck just offshore Peru late Wednesday was cancelled for all the countries previously included in its advisory: Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico and Honduras.
